Manage and direct project activities, act as liaison all internal/external stakeholders, engineers, contractors, suppliers, third-parties, construction managers and other consultants during the execution phase of the assigned solar and BESS projects. This position will be responsible for the coordination during execution phase and close out of projects until handover. Responsible to plan and manage schedule, budget (cash flows), safety & environment, quality, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee projects with focus on contracts, schedule, technical, safety, quality, commercial and economics.
Supervise overall construction in cooperation with Construction Manager to make sure that contractors and suppliers are performing properly.
Reporting about current progress of the construction and hold weekly team meetings, maintaining a list of project action items.
Supervise project team members to ensure proper communication, timely and efficient.
Compliance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards
Manage day-to-day operational, enforcing our standards and minimizing installation risks and assuring that corrective actions are taken if needed.
Support discussions with METI, Utility, Prefecture, and any other Authority during phase before Construction and during Construction (in supporting mode with Development PM).
In coordination with Development and Permitting Team monitor and ensure we are obtaining the permits needed for start construction such as forest permit, EIA. and Supervise land acquisition needed for the execution of the project is carried out in accordance with Project's needs (PV site, grid connection, substation, access road).
Essential for this role
Industrial, mechanical or electrical Engineer
2 or above years' experience in EPC Project Management
Working experience in renewable energy sector or BESS projects.
Solar and BESS technical experience and understanding.
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down the organization.
Leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills

Project management training
7 or above years' experience in EPC Project Management in renewables
Civil works knowledge
Electronics/monitoring systems knowledge
Ability to read, understand and interpret contract and insurance documents and forms, and make appropriate recommendations
Solid time management system and demonstrates organizational skills.
Negotiation of contractual terms, and negotiation skills in general.
