A high-growth construction technology business is hiring two junior engineers to support the development and deployment of robotic, automated manufacturing systems - transforming how homes are built through hardware and software. Built for Real-World Production
Construction is one of the least digitised industries globally, facing major challenges across cost, labour, and delivery. This team is solving that by combining robotics, mechanical engineering, and automation to enable faster, more efficient, and scalable production environments.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with physical systems, contributing to the build and iteration of real-world hardware.
Responsibilities
Support the build, assembly, and deployment of mechanical systems
Work across robotic and automated production environments
Assist with prototyping, testing, and iteration of hardware components
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical and electromechanical systems
Collaborate with engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, and software
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems already in operation
Requirements
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar - OR relevant Mechanical Fitter experience
Exposure to robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
Strong interest in mechanical engineering and real-world hardware
Ability to get up to speed quickly and adapt in a fast-moving environment
Comfortable working hands-on with tools, systems, and physical components
What Stands Out
Internships or placements completed during university
Experience working with mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems
Hands-on exposure to robotics systems
CAD experience and ability to work from or produce technical designs
Personal projects, builds, or engineering work outside of formal environments
Startup experience or evidence of working in fast-paced, ambiguous settings
Side projects or business ventures demonstrating initiative and ownership
