Sunvapor, Inc is a decarbonization solutions provider, offering project and technology development focused on difficult-to-decarbonize sectors of our energy economy. Areas of focus include providing renewable process heat, cooling, and desalination. Sunvapor provides engineering, procurement, construction, as well as operations and maintenance services for commercial projects delivering solar process heat or renewable water recovery. Sunvapor is also engaged in R&D projects with the goal of expanding our technology offerings as well as reducing costs for delivered systems.
Company History
Founded in 2014, Sunvapor is a leading solar process heat and desalination company. Sunvapor has developed solar steam, energy storage, and desalination technologies with several awards from the US Department of Energy. Based in Pasadena, CA, Sunvapor designed, built, and operates the country’s only industrial solar boiler. Sunvapor was awarded a prestigious Solar Desalination Prize in 2021 from the US Department of Energy for its patented hybrid membrane process.
